Have you ever felt that enough is enough? Those few extra pounds bothering you? Are you tired of not being the best you can be? The only way to change is to decide that you will gain more by doing than by doing nothing only then will you truly be on your way to weight loss.

1. Eat smaller portions – eating smaller portions means less calories, no matter what you eat, if you eat less then you gain less. Now it may be simple but it isn’t easy, not at all. We are all so use to big portions, if it’s from mom’s cooking or from fast food, we always get a lot of everything! Now, even if you only eat alone, you still feel the need to eat more every meal. In order to change that habit, you can try and imagine how much weight you want to lose and apply it to the meal, if you want to lose 10% of your weight eat 10% less food… if you want to lose 50% than eat half the portion you usually do. It’s that simple this defiantly works, it is recommended to buy new plates that are smaller, smaller plates mean smaller meals.

2. Exercise more – This cannot be stressed enough. Exercise is essential not only to weight loss but to better health in general. Now this doesn’t mean you have to run and sign up to the gym in order to exercise, it is recommended, but there’re are simpler ways that you can implement in your lives right now, which will help a lot. Taking the stairs, using a bike to get to the local stores, parking a bit further from work, or home, and walking the rest of the way. All these are excellent work outs and they are easy to incorporate into your daily routine.

3. Eat healthier – This is a real “no brainer” simply eat more veggies and whole foods. Organic is not a must, it’s usually cheaper to buy regular food, and organic food has not been proven to provide any real proof of being healthier than regular food. Once you start eating better you feel better almost immediately, just try to incorporate veggies in every meal you’ll thank me later.
